We were a complicated group - dad is vegetarian, sister walks with a cane, and I wanted a relaxing pace. We took my 82-year-old mother to China and were a bit worried about the pacing. When we were in Zhangjiajie, she was getting tired midway through the day, but our guide quickly moved things around so she could get a solid break while we still saw everything.
